Hyundai Exports cumulative sales grew by 1pc at 51,030 units

Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) registered around 1pc growth in cumulative sales for the month of August 2011. While the domestic sales dropped by 6.7pc the exports grew by 10.5pc. HMIL’s total sales for August, 2011 stood at 51,030 units against 50,633 units in August, 2010. The domestic sales accounted for 26,677 units compared to 28,601units for the same month last year while the exports totaled 24,353 units in August 2011 against 22,032 units of August 2010. The segment-wise cumulative sales for the month of August, 2011 are as follows: A2 segment (Santro, i10, i20) 43,687 units; A3 Segment (Accent & Verna) 7,105 units; A5 segment (Sonata Transform) 12 units; Santa Fe (SUV) 226 units.
